The bar graph represents a total of billions of minutes of local, national and international and mobile phone calls in the UK from 1995 to 2002.
Local telephone calls in Britain in 1995 reached 70 billion minutes, a record high of 9 billion minutes, and by 2002, the number had gradually declined to the same number as it did 71 billion in 1995.
Telephone calls from Nationals, Internationals and Mobiles came in positive numbers between 1995 and 2002. Starting at a lower number than domestic calls, calls from Nationals, Internationals and Mobiles took 38 minutes and 30 minutes, respectively.
National and international calls doubled from 38 billion in 1995 to 61 billion in 2002, while mobile phones increased about 15 times from 3 billion in 1995 to about 47 billion in 2002. Although it peaked in 1999 between 1995 and 2002, local calls showed no positive increases.
